Girl : Who are …………. useful for them.
लड़की: आप कौन हैं? आपसे बहुत दुर्गंध आती है। मैं बीमार पड़ सकती हूँ।
श्रीमान कचरा: मैं मिस्टर कचरा हूं। मैं हर जगह पाया जाता हूं।
लड़की: तुम बहुत बदसूरत लग रहे हो। तुम किससे बने हो?
श्रीमान कचरा: मैं सब्जी के छिलके, पुराने और फटे कपड़े, जूते, बर्तन, कागज और किसी भी बेकार चीज से बना हूं जिसे आप फेंक देते हैं।
लड़की : कहाँ रहते हो मिस्टर गारबेज ?
श्रीमान कचरा : डस्टबिन मेरा घर है। आप मुझे गड्ढे में डाल कर ढक भी सकते हैं।
लड़की : फिर, तुम यहाँ क्यों हो?
श्रीमान कचरा : मैं यहां इसलिए हूं क्योंकि लोग मुझे जहां चाहें फेंक देते हैं। यदि वे मुझे किसी गड्ढे में डाल दें और उसे ढक दें, तो मैं उनके काम आ सकता हूँ।
Girl : How is …………. Almost forever!
लड़की : ऐसा कैसे हो सकता है ?
श्रीमान कचरा : वहाँ मैं मिट्टी में मिल जाता हूँ और खाद बन जाता हूँ ताकि तुम्हारे लिए अच्छी फसल पैदा कर सकूँ।
लड़की : यह अच्छा है। लेकिन वह कौन है?
श्रीमान कचरा : वह मिसेज पॉलीथिन है।
लड़की : मिसेज पॉलिथीन, वह बहुत सुंदर लग रही है।
श्रीमान कचरा : प्रिय बच्चे, निःसंदेह वह बहुत सुंदर और उपयोगी है। लेकिन क्या आप जानते हैं कि इसे निगलने से जानवर मर जाते हैं। वह मनुष्य की सबसे खतरनाक शत्रु है।
लड़की : किस तरह से ?
श्रीमान कचरा : क्योंकि वह प्लास्टिक से बनी है। जैसा कि मैंने तुमसे कहा था कि मैं मिट्टी में मिल सकता हूं, लेकिन प्लास्टिक कभी मिट्टी में नहीं मिलती। वह मिट्टी में लंबे समय तक रहती है।

श्रीमान कचरा : तुम सही हो। लोग इसका इस्तेमाल इसलिए करते हैं क्योंकि प्लास्टिक को किसी भी आकार में ढाला जा सकता है, और यह आसानी से टूटता नहीं है। लेकिन याद रखें, यह पर्यावरण के लिए अच्छा नहीं है।
लड़की: ठीक है, मैं इसे याद रखूंगी और अपने परिवार और पड़ोसियों को भी प्लास्टिक का इस्तेमाल बंद करने के लिए कहूंगी।
श्रीमान कचरा: अच्छा। तब हमारी पृथ्वी रहने के लिए एक स्वच्छ और स्वस्थ जगह होगी।
