Little Mini was …….. Kabuliwallah! “

छोटी मिनी पांच साल की थी और बहुत बातूनी थी | वह पूरा समय बिना बात किए नहीं रह सकती | उसकी माँ उसके नॉन स्टॉप बात करने को लेकर बहुत चिंतित थीं , उन्होंने मिनी को चुप कराने का प्रयास किया | उसका अपने पिता के साथ बातचीत करने का तरीका बहुत जीवंत था |

एएक दिन मिनी अपने पिता के स्टडी रूम में फूट पड़ी। उसने अपने हाथ से उनको घेरते हुए कहा, “तुम क्या सोचते हो, पिताजी? भोला का कहना है कि बादलों में एक हाथी है जो अपने सूंड से पानी उड़ाता है और इसीलिए बारिश होती है। इससे पहले कि उसके पिता जवाब दे सकते वह खिड़की की ओर दौड़ी, “हे काबुलीवाला हे काबुलीवाला! ”

Mini called him out ……….. little five-year-old.

मिनी ने काबुलीवाला को पुकारा, लेकिन जब उसकी नजर उस पर पड़ी तो वह डर में थी और अपने पिता के पास भाग गई । उसने सुना था कि काबुलीवाला बच्चों को पकड़ता है, उन्हें अपने बोरे में डालता है और उठा ले जाता है। काबुलीवाला मिनी के घर आया और उसके पिता ने यह सुनिश्चित किया कि मिनी बाहर आए और उससे मिले । जल्द ही मिनी ने अपना डरना बंद कर दिया और बड़ी दाढ़ी वाले पठान को पांच साल की उम्र की बच्ची से कोमलता से बात करते देखकर खुशी हुई |

The Kabuliwallah was now ……. sent to prison.

काबुलीवाला अब मिनी के घर के लिए एक दैनिक आगंतुक थे । वे बैठते और घंटे भर बातें करते और चुटकुले सुनाते । एक साल बाद रहमान, उसके लिए काबुलीवाला का नाम था, अपने ही देश वापस चला जाएगा | वह पहले वह सारा पैसा इकट्ठा करेगा जो उसने लोगों को दे रखा था | हालांकि रहमान व्यस्त थे, लेकिन उन्हें हमेशा छोटी मिनी से मिलने का समय निकालते । एक दिन मोहल्ले में काफी शोर हुआ। रहमान ने एक शख्स पर वार किया था, जिसने उनसे पैसे उधार लिए थे । इस अपराध के लिए उसे जेल भेज दिया गया।

Time passed and Mini ……… on another day.

समय बीत गया और मिनी जल्द ही अपने पुराने दोस्त काबुलीवालाह को भूल गई । वह एक बहुत सुंदर औरत में बड़ी हुई। उसके पिता ने मिनी की शादी का इंतजाम किया था। उस रात मिनी की शादी हो रही थी। उसके पिता तैयारियों में व्यस्त थे, एक आदमी उसके पास आया और सम्मानपूर्वक नमस्कार किया। पहले तो वह उसे नहीं पहचान पाए । जल्द ही उन्हें एहसास हुआ, यह बूढ़ा रहमान, काबुलीवाला था । मिनी के पिता ने उससे कहा कि शादी समारोह चल रहे हैं और उसे दूसरे दिन आना चाहिए ।

वह जाने वाला था जब वह घूमा और कहा, “मैं उस छोटी बच्ची को देख सकते हूँ, सर?” उसने सोचा मिनी अभी भी छोटी बच्ची है , वह अभी दौडती हुई आयेगी और पुकारेगी काबुलीवाला, हे! काबुलीवाला । उसने सोचा कि वे बात करेंगे और हँसेंगे क्योंकि बहुत पहले करते थे। मिनी के पिता ने उसे फिर से बताया कि शादी समारोह चल रहे हैं, काबुलीवालाह ने फिर उसे मिनी के लिए सूखे किशमिश, नट और बादाम का एक छोटा पैकेट दिया और कहा, ये उस छोटी बच्ची दे दो। मेरे भी उसी की तरह एक छोटी बच्ची है मैं उसके बारे में सोचता हूँ और आपके लिए फल लाया हूँ |

Mini’s father could not …….. child once again.

मिनी के पिता अपने आंसुओं पर काबू नहीं रख पाए। उन्हें अहसास हुआ कि गरीब काबुलीवाला भी पिता हैं। उन्होंने मिनी को बुलाया, जो दुल्हन के रूप में तैयार होकर बाहर आयी । काबुलीवालाह यह देखकर चौंक गया कि मिनी, जिस छोटी लड़की को वह जानता था, वह एक खूबसूरत महिला के रूप में बड़ी हो गई थी । उसे अचानक अहसास हुआ कि उसकी बेटी भी बड़ी हो गई होगी और आंसुओं में टूट गई होगी ।

मिनी के पिता ने कुछ पैसे निकालकर रहमान को दिए और कहा कि जाओ और अपनी बेटी को देखो और तुम सब खुशियाँ मनाओ । मिनी के पिता को शादी का खर्च में कटौती करना पड़ा। वह मिलेट्री बैंड और इलेक्ट्रिक लाइट्स का खर्च नहीं उठा सके लेकिन उन्हें खुशी है कि उन पैसों से एक लंबे समय से खोए हुए पिता को एक बार फिर अपने इकलौते बच्चे से मिलने में मदद की ।
